In the next few weeks I intend to develop a data warehouse which will contain data that my company has historically processed and distributed with spreadsheet lists and pivot tables. The phase one scope of the project will include:
1. Sales and Gross Margin
3. Accounts Receivable
4. Accounts Payable
I’ve learned a lot about the available tools and interviewed several vendors who will provide some of the technical know how and critical evaluation of the schema that we develop internally. It’s an interesting process. I hope to post my findings as the project progresses.
